Interventional Radiologist Opportunity in Exciting College Town!
Subspecialty: Interventional Radiology

Radiology Partners Indiana is seeking a fellowship trained interventional radiologist who is well rounded and comfortable with interpreting all Diagnostic Radiology studies including CT, and MRI.

A successful candidate will be joining a team operating in two “State of the Art” Angiography Suites capable of supporting the performance of PAD and Oncology Procedures. The lab offers dedicated and supportive staff with significant opportunities to grow relationships with specialists practicing at the hospital through the attendance and participation in multidisciplinary conferences. This position offers a partnership track (three years to full partner), competitive compensation package with generous paid time off opportunities as part of the overall benefits provided. Lastly, candidates must have an interest in building the IR program with the provided support of Radiology Partners, which is one of the fastest growing Hospital based Practices in the Nation which understands the value IR brings to the hospital and healthcare community.

Candidates must be residency-trained in Diagnostic Radiology and Board-Certified or Eligible in Diagnostic Radiology. Fellowship training in Interventional Radiology is required. CAQ in IR is a plus. Candidates must also be comfortable with diagnostic radiology as contributions in reading on the diagnostic case list is expected between cases.

Position Duties and Responsibilities

  • IR call would be 1:3 weeks to be shared equally with the other interventionalists
  • No weekday diagnostic call – participation is expected on the diagnostic worklist when IR cases are not being performed and IR physicians are not involved in activities to grow the program or the Practice is needing assistance reading the case list
  • The group covers the full spectrum of IR procedures including tumor ablations, TACE and Y-90, TIPS, hepatobiliary work, dialysis access management, biopsies, and other related procedures
  • Angiography specifically including trauma embolization’s, PAD, oncology, spine, and GI bleeding cases

Desired Professional Skills and Experience

  • This is a partnership track position
  • Indiana license is preferred
  • Fellowship trained in Interventional Radiology
  • Candidates must be residency-trained in Diagnostic Radiology, Board-Certified/Eligible in Diagnostic Imaging
