Breast Imaging Fellowship - Accepting Applications for 2018-2019 and 2019 to 20120

Kettering Medical Center, part of Kettering Health Network, has an unexpected opening and is now accepting applications for the academic year 2018-2019 with a flexible start date.

Kettering Medical Center is also accepting applications for the academic year 2019-2020.

The one year fellowship will be comprised of breast imaging in Kettering’s dedicated Breast Center, Kettering Breast Evaluation Centers, and follow recommendations outlined by the Society of Breast Imaging. The curriculum may be obtained by contacting

The fellowship will provide training in all aspects of breast imaging and interventional procedures. The KHN Breast Imaging Section performs procedures and reads for a large hospital network which includes multiple state-of-the-art centers in the Dayton, Ohio area. The Breast Imaging team performs and interprets over 45,000 examinations each year, including Digital Mammography, Ultrasound, Breast MRI and Breast interventional procedures. Rotations in General Surgery, Plastic Surgery, Radiation Oncology and Pathology will be part of this fellowship. The fellow will have the opportunity to participate in bi-weekly breast conferences and other educational activities.

The Breast Imaging fellow must be a proactive, self-motivated individual. The salary will be $ 100,000.00 with benefits. Application requirements include successful completion of an American Osteopathic Association or Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education approved residency in Diagnostic Radiology. Fellows must be Board Eligible/Board certified prior to starting the fellowship program. Eligible candidates must also obtain an Ohio medical license and meet all other hospital network credentialing requirements before starting the program.
