BE/BC Nuclear Medicine physician sought to join the Kettering Network Radiologists, Inc., serving 7 teaching hospitals in Southwestern Ohio.

Nuclear Medicine is a distinct group within the medical imaging department

  • Nuclear Radiologist or Internal Medicine background
  • The candidate must have completed an ACGME approved nuclear medicine residency or Nuclear Medicine Fellowship and be board eligible or board certified by the ABNM
  • The candidate should be ACLS certified and trained in stress test supervision
  • Ohio Medical License (or eligible)

KNRI performs over 19,000 studies per year including

  • 3000 PET and PET/CT scans (including FDG, F-18 bone, rubidium stress, Amyvid, Axumin, C-11 methionine),
  • All general clinical and cardiac nuclear medicine procedures, thyroid consultations and therapy, bone therapy and bone densitometry.

State of the art equipment across the network includes 3 PET/CT, 1 PET, 3 SPECT/CT, 2 DXA scanners and multiple gamma cameras, rubidium generator and cyclotron.

In addition to patient care, responsibilities include medical student and resident teaching and participation in hospital committees and cancer conferences. The successful candidate will be encouraged to participate in clinical research and be able to interact with a multidisciplinary team of physicians and scientists. Faculty appointment at Wright State University and Ohio University is available.
