Department of Radiology

The Department of Radiology at UPMC and the University of Pittsburgh, one of the largest academic radiology programs in the country, is pleased to announce that we are recruiting for a Vice Chair of Education. The Vice Chair of Education will provide oversight of all undergraduate and graduate medical educational activities for the Department of Radiology, including preclinical teaching, the diagnostic and interventional radiology residency programs, the subspecialty fellowship programs (both ACGME and non-ACGME), and will serve as a liaison with the School of Medicine Office of Student Affairs and the UPMC Office of Graduate Medical Education, as well as other affiliated programs and institutions. The Vice Chair shall also assist the residency program directors with maintaining full accreditation status, support and promote faculty development, and supervise the development and maintenance of data and learning management systems.

Qualified applicants must be at the Associate Professor rank or above, and be able to function at an executive managerial level in a complex health care organization. All applicants must have completed fellowship training within their specialty, be board-eligible or certified with the American Board of Radiology, and be eligible for licensure in Pennsylvania.
