Southwest Medical Imaging, Ltd. (SMIL) is a well-established, subspecialized group of nearly 50 radiologists. We own over a dozen outpatient imaging centers throughout the Phoenix metropolitan area. We have an exclusive relationship with our hospital system, HonorHealth. This currently includes five high-quality hospitals in Scottsdale and Phoenix. Three of the five hospitals are identified as Level 1 traumas. We will soon be servicing a brand new HonorHealth hospital.

Our unique SMIL Research Institute is an entity through which we perform phase I through IV clinical research in all subspecialty areas. Interested physicians would have the opportunity to gain research literacy as well as participate in sponsored and academic clinical trials. SMIL is part of Radiology Partners, the largest and fastest growing practice in the US.

Position Duties and Responsibilities

  • Onsite overnight position 10p –7a.
  • 7 nights on, 14 nights off though scheduling can be flexible
  • Primarily ER studies including CT, US, x-ray
  • Simple preliminary reports for MRI and neuro CTA with final reads performed by daytime rads.
  • Exceedingly rare procedures

DESIRED PROFESSIONAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Candidates will be residency-trained in Diagnostic Radiology and Board-Certified or Board-Eligible (recent graduates falling under the new ABR guidelines).
