Interventional Radiologist Needed in Cincinnati, OH!

We are seeking a motivated radiologist, fellowship-trained in Interventional Radiology for our Cincinnati, OH locations.
Candidates must be fellowship trained in Interventional Radiology and be CAQ/eligible to join our expanding practice.

Some of the procedures our group performs are: Trauma embolization, chemoembolization, thermal ablation, Y-90 and other interventional oncologic procedures, UFE's, GI/GU work, biliary intervention, biopsies and drains, venous access, dialysis related interventions including catheters and access maintenance, stents, angioplasty, varicocele embolization, IVC filters, diagnostic cerebral and peripheral angiography and vertebral augmentation. The ideal candidate will be and also be willing to read diagnostic radiology studies, including radiographs, ultrasound, CT and MRI.


Our radiology practice in Cincinnati is expanding and we are in search of an Interventional Radiologist to join our team! Our practice provides interventional and diagnostic radiology services for Mercy Health, the largest health system in the state, headquartered in Cincinnati, OH. The Interventional Radiology departments provide advanced oncologic interventions, chemoembolization, port placement, radiofrequency and microwave ablations, UFE, IVC filter placement and retrieval and vertebral augmentation.

The current IR team includes 6 physicians covering several dedicated Phillips IR suites.

Columbus Radiology Corporation (CRC) is a private practice that was founded in 1946, now with 100+ board-certified and subspecialty trained radiologists who are committed to excellence – in patient care, physician relations, continuous quality improvement and professional development.

CRC operates an internal 24/7 Results Communication Center support team (CORE = Center of Radiology Excellence) to coordinate care and clinical contact. This clinical team is an extension of our Radiologists, which helps in reducing day to day administrative minutia. The Advisory Board Company and the American College of Radiology have both recognized this as an innovative customer service function. CRC continually reviews and improves their radiology service through new clinical initiatives, research, artificial intelligence and best practices that provide proven value to patients and payors.

This is a full time, 3 year partnership track position with rotating weekday and weekend call.

CRC has a commitment to quality and ardently promotes and invests in the professional development of our radiologists through a comprehensive quality assurance program. We offer highly competitive compensation including an annual profit sharing contribution, currently $36,000, into the physician’s 401k retirement account. We also offer 9-10 weeks of vacation (IR’s earn an additional 4-5 weeks of PTO for participating in call coverage), as well as health, life, disability and malpractice insurance coverage. Ample moonlighting opportunities offer additional compensation up to $50-75K with the possibility for more dependent upon additional shifts.


• Candidates must be a Doctor of Medicine, Board-certified/eligible and fellowship trained in Interventional Radiology
• Completed an internship and residency in accredited US Diagnostic Radiology Training Program
• Have or obtain an OH medical license
