The Department of Radiology and Medical Imaging at the University of Virginia (UVA) is seeking a full-time, Fellowship-trained Thoracic Radiologist to join the growing Section of Thoracic Imaging. Primary duties for this position will include but are not limited to reading all thoracic related studies, including plain film, CT, and MRI. Procedural skills are considered an asset, although not a requirement for this position.
Qualified candidates for this position must have a MD or equivalent degree in the field, be eligible for Virginia State Medical Licensure, be Board Certified/Eligible, and be strongly interested in a career in academic radiology. The Thoracic Imaging Section is a growing group of six radiologists within a larger Division of Body Imaging. Rank is dependent on qualifications and experience.
