Greensboro Radiology is a highly subspecialized private practice group with 70+ radiologists in central North Carolina. As we continue to grow, we are in search of highly skilled radiologists to join our team!
The Greensboro Radiology mission is to lead radiology excellence through personalized and compassionate care. We have demonstrated this commitment to quality and service by implementing a single PACS/voice recognition environment throughout the areas we serve (our regional timeline). This unified radiology platform employs a subspecialty workflow solution and dedicated emergency radiology section to deliver subspecialty care around the clock and supports our radiologists with 24/7 Concierge reading room assistants and strong IT support.
North Carolina is a great place to raise a family, with relatively low cost of living, temperate climate, and easy access to both the mountains and the beach. Our current geographic footprint includes the Triad area (Greensboro, Winston-Salem, High Point), as well the Triangle region (Raleigh, Durham, Chapel Hill) and northern Charlotte. Candidates can choose to live in multiple locations within this beautiful state!
POSITION SUMMARY
Greensboro Radiology is seeking a full-time, fellowship-trained Breast Imager to support our growing practice in North Carolina. All aspects of breast imaging including screening exams are only interpreted by the breast section in our highly subspecialized model. The ideal candidate can expect a heavy concentration in dedicated breast imaging including ultrasound, stereo and MRI guided breast biopsies. A desire to work in a collaborative environment with the local surgeons, pathologists and oncologists is required. When not scheduled for a dedicated breast imaging shift, radiologists maintain proficiency with non-subspecialty diagnostic imaging on general diagnostic shifts.
This opportunity is a full-time, partnership-track position with a weekend requirement of only 10 weekends per year (20 days). Radiologists also receive a post call day following each call weekend. Overnight call is not required. The position includes a generous compensation package and a slate of benefits (including a fully funded 401k profit sharing plan with immediate vesting), as well as health, life, disability, malpractice insurance coverage, substantial PTO and ample moonlighting opportunities to significantly increase compensation as desired.
