Scottsdale Medical Imaging, Ltd. (SMIL) is a well-established, sub-specialized group of 40 radiologists. We provide services at three high quality community hospitals in Scottsdale, Arizona, including a Level 1 trauma center and 2 stroke centers. SMIL owns approximately a dozen outpatient-imaging centers throughout the Phoenix metropolitan area and has operations in multiple other facilities. SMIL is part of Radiology Partners, the largest and fastest growing practice in the US.

We are looking for a fellowship trained Breast Imager to fill a full-time onsite daytime position within our practice in Scottsdale, AZ.

Our unique SMIL Research Institute is an entity through which we perform phase I through IV clinical research in all subspecialty areas. Interested physicians would have the opportunity to gain research literacy as well as participate in sponsored and academic clinical trials.

POSITION DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Strong focus on breast imaging (80%), with a lesser degree of general radiology.
• A proven track record of outstanding interpersonal and communication skills is expected
• Shift assignment, call responsibility, and vacation allotment are shared equally
• There is no neuro, nuclear medicine, or IR responsibility in this role

DESIRED PROFESSIONAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• Candidates will be residency-trained in Diagnostic Radiology and Board-Certified or Board-Eligible (recent graduates falling under the new ABR guidelines)
• Interest in providing research leadership is a bonus
