This position covers Tampa General Hospital recently ranked the # 2 best hospital in the US according to US News and World Report. Tampa General is considered the best hospital in the Tampa area, according to Becker’s Healthcare. The hospital is known for its Level 1 trauma center, regional burn center, and is one of the busiest transplant centers in the country.
The practice covers several outpatient imaging centers as well as the University of South Florida, serving as the primary teaching faculty for the department. Candidates will also read remotely for Sarasota Memorial Hospital via Clario.
Radiology Associates of Florida emphasizes quality and safety using state-of-the art equipment and is one of the first radiology groups in the country to implement Clinical Decision Support (CDS) with ACR Select in order to reduce the rate of inappropriate testing.
POSITION SUMMARY
Radiology Associates of Florida is seeking a full time General Radiologist to support our growing practice in Tampa, FL. The ideal candidate will read all General Radiology to include mammo and nuclear radiology. Basic IR is a plus! Ideal candidates will have an interest in teaching the residents and fellows at the University of South Florida.
This opportunity is a full-time, partnership track position with a weekend requirement of only 9-weekend days/year and no overnight call. They offer the full range of benefits to include generous PTO and moonlighting opportunities.
