Assistant/Associate Professor Neuroradiologist

Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in Shreveport is seeking a full-time BC/BE academic Neuroradiologist at the Assistant or Associate Professor level. Primary responsibilities include patient care, resident education, and medical student education. Laboratory research interests will be supported. Salary will be competitive and commensurate with academic seniority. Neuroradiology Fellowship- Trained preferred.

Ochsner LSU Health System is the only major academic medical center in the area and receives patients from a catchment area with a radius of approximately 75-100 miles, which includes a population of approximately 1½ million people.

Highlights of the Position:

  • Our health sciences center is home to the LSU School of Medicine, School of Graduate Studies and School of Allied Health Professions and a robust research enterprise. More than 800 students are enrolled in the degree programs at any one time. Additionally, nearly 600 residents and fellows are trained each year.
  • Collegial and multidisciplinary team of physicians and nurses to collaborate on a customized plan of care for each patient.
  • Physician leadership and input at all levels of administration.
  • EPIC medical record platform utilized
