The University Medical Center is a 600+ bed Tertiary Care Academic Medical Center and Regional Level 1 Trauma Center with Brain & Spine Institute and a well established Breast Imaging program. The Department of Radiology has 24 Diagnostic Radiology Residents and an established Molecular/cancer imaging research program. The Medical Center continues to experience growth and development and expansion of the Cancer, Brain and Spine, Heart Lung Vascular, Trauma, Women’s and Infants service lines. Breast/Women’s Imager – You will spend most of your time working on breast imaging rotations either in the University Breast Center or various community breast centers. You can expect doing Breast Imaging the majority of your time with not only rotation to rural site breast centers where you will have to do some diagnostic radiology, but also occasional diagnostic radiology rotations. Candidate will be responsible for interpreting mammography (including tomosynthesis), breast US, Breast MR and performing all related Breast interventional procedures and must be comfortable with general radiology. Flexible position parameters are offered including an employed opportunity working Monday – Friday, 8-5pm with no weekend, evening or overnight responsibilities or Partnership track position which includes Diagnostic Radiology call of 1:4 weekends.
