Medical Center Radiology Group (MCRG) is the oldest and largest 100% independent private practice group in Florida - established in 1949 and still growing. MCRG is the diagnostic radiology, interventional radiology and nuclear medicine group for Orlando Health, including Orlando Regional Medical Center which is a Level I trauma center, Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children, Winnie Palmer Hospital for Women & Babies, University of Florida Health Cancer Center at Orlando Health, Dr. P. Phillips Hospital, South Seminole Hospital, South Lake Hospital and Orlando Health Central Hospital. MCRG proudly serves St. Cloud Regional Medical Center, several free standing ERs and outpatient imaging centers.
Our growing practice seeks a candidate with a strong interest in all aspects of Thoracic imaging. Body imagers have traditionally covered the thoracic section, but we now seek a fellowship trained chest radiologist to lead the subsection. Successful candidates will join our established team of body imagers serving the needs of Orlando Health and the UF Cancer Center. An ability to work with interdisciplinary teams on tumor boards is expected. Candidates will also join our core general radiology section and wlll work ~1 weekend/month of general radiology coverage (either 7am-3pm or 3pm-11pm). Weekend and evening shifts can often be worked from home. 8-10 weeks of vacation offered per year.
Position is eligible for partnership track. Initial compensation package $400K +. Duration of partnership track will be dependent on candidate experience and overall strength/fit. An employment track option is also available which would include greater initial salary and/or decreased call. Generous stipend for CME and Technology. 2020 fellows are welcome to apply. Florida license and successful hospital credentialing is required. MCRG staff will assist with credentialing.
