Immediate need for a Body Imager to join our group in Stamford, Connecticut. The practice is centered within an academically-oriented (Columbia University affiliate)community hospital, within a beautiful and newly constructed 305-bed, hospital. Facility is located along beautiful coastal Connecticut, easily commutable by express train or car to Manhattan. The group has after-hours tele-radiology coverage.

Known for its expertise in cancer care, heart services, orthopedics and women's imaging, the hospital has up-to-date equipment and is supported by experienced technologists and staff that are driven to provide the best patient care possible. While the group is largely private-practice in nature, there are opportunities for academic pursuits, with a thriving research program within the medical staff. Candidate will be employed and join a subspecialty-focused department that includes fellowship-trained radiologists.

The appropriate candidate will be expected to lead the Body Imaging section, while also demonstrating competence in general diagnostic radiology services. Candidate will be an asset in growing the Radiology Department’s practice via outreach into the medical community, participating in robust Tumor-Boards as well as engaging in hospital committees.
