POSITION SUMMARY

Join a vibrant, well-established group of 9 radiologists providing services for the Bethesda Healthcare System in Boynton Beach, located in coastal Southern Florida/Palm Beach County. Bethesda Radiology Associates, a Radiology Partners Practice, has a top-notch staff who have an excellent reputation in the community, as well as strong rapport with administration and referring physicians.

This 50% IR/ 50% DR position is a full-time, day shift, partnership track eligible position. This position will share in the rotation in supporting IR/DR services at Bethesda Hospital East, Bethesda Hospital West and Health City Outpatient Imaging center. All locations are conveniently located in Boynton Beach proper. The ideal candidate will be expected to read diagnostic cases to include routine mixed emergency studies- CT stroke profusion, cardiac CTA, CT, MRI, ultrasound and x-rays. A candidate that is MQSA certified is highly desirable. This IR position will offer a diverse case load including urologic, biliary, vascular access, biopsies, angiography, Vertebroplasty / kyphoplasty, fibroid embolization, IR light (paracentesis, thoracentesis, lumbar puncture, thyroid fine needle aspiration). The candidate will also have the potential to build any areas of interest including oncologic interventions and portal hypertension. IR call is shared with two other local interventional radiologists, Q3 and is considered light as facility is not a trauma center. This position also participates in diagnostic call at 2/3 of the rate of the non-interventional physicians

POSITION DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

DESIRED PROFESSIONAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Candidates must be a Doctor of Medicine or Osteopathy, Board-certified and residency trained in the practice of Diagnostic Radiology
  • Candidates must be fellowship trained in Interventional Radiology
  • Board certified/eligible by American Board of Radiology or the American Osteopathic Board of Radiology
  • CAQ certified/eligible
  • MQSA certified is a plus!
