POSITION SUMMARY

Greensboro Radiology is a subspecialized private practice group of 70+ radiologists providing service in central North Carolina, with a 6 room fully supported remote reading office in Honolulu Hawaii. The Greensboro Radiology mission is to lead radiology excellence through personalized and compassionate care. We have demonstrated this commitment to quality and service by implementing a single PACS/voice recognition environment across all of the hospitals and imaging centers we serve (our regional timeline). This unified radiology platform employs a subspecialty worklist environment to deliver subspecialty care around the clock. We support our radiologists with 24/7 reading room assistants and strong IT support. The dedicated Greensboro Radiology office in Honolulu, blocks from Waikiki in the Ala Moana area, offers a dynamic and collegial work environment, with individual reading rooms and identical workstations to the larger practice in NC. Workflow is uniform across the practice. As an Emergency Radiologist working in this location, you will always be physically with at least one other doctor, and with as many as 5 others in the office. You will always be working alongside Radiologists in NC, in communication by instant messaging and a local phone number, and fully supported by our Radiology Assistants. Greensboro Radiology is seeking a full-time, board certified / board eligible Diagnostic Radiologist to join our growing practice at our office in Honolulu, Hawaii as a member of our Emergency Radiology section. A dedicated team of up to 12 radiologists has been providing late shift coverage for the practice for 8 years in NC and in Hawaii for over 5 years. A desire to work with a collaborative team is required. There are at least two shifts covered by the Emergency Radiology section in Honolulu, currently 8am – 6pm HST and 12 – 10pm HST. The emergency radiology team creates its own schedule and each rad usually works 3 to 7 shifts in a row at your choosing. The ideal candidate is capable of providing primary reads for all non-specialty ED studies, with occasional preliminary (or final, if able) reports for MSK MR, extremity CTAs, and appendicitis MRIs. Mammography is not required for this position. Neuro MR/CTA proficiency is not required for this position, as our Neuroradiology section covers 24/7, including from the Hawaii office. This opportunity can be a full-time, partnership-track position or an employed position. The employed position requires 182 shifts per year, with the partner-track position requiring additional shifts, in the range of 200-210. The position includes a generous compensation package and a slate of benefits (including a fully funded 401k profit sharing plan with immediate vesting), as well as health, life, disability, malpractice insurance coverage, substantial PTO and ample internal additional shift opportunities (internal moonlighting) to additionally increase compensation if desired.

POSITION DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• General Emergency Radiology
• Training/experience in general diagnostic radiology
• Provide occasional preliminary reports for MSK MR, extremity CTAs, and appendicitis MRI
• No mammography or neuro MR/CTAs
• No beeper call


DESIRED PROFESSIONAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
• American Board of Radiology (ABR) certified or eligible
• North Carolina and Hawaii licenses will be necessary if accepted
• Candidates must be residency-trained in Diagnostic Radiology, Board-Certified/Eligible
in Diagnostic Imaging
• Fellowship training optional, but preferred in Body, MSK or Neuro
