POSITION SUMMARY
Greensboro Radiology is a highly subspecialized private practice group with 70+ radiologists in central North Carolina. As we continue to grow, we are in search of a highly skilled neurointerventional radiologist to join our team! The Greensboro Radiology mission is to lead radiology excellence through personalized and compassionate care. This commitment to quality and service includes extensive investment in IT and human resource support for our radiologists. Reading room assistants are available 24/7, all hospitals are unified in a single PACS/voice recognition system, and dedicated software provides seamless worklist management. Decades of high-level service to our patients, colleagues, and hospital systems has created a highly congenial and stable practice environment. North Carolina is a great place to raise a family, with relatively low cost of living, temperate climate, and easy access to both the mountains and the beach. Our current geographic footprint includes the Triad area (Greensboro, Winston-Salem, High Point), as well the Triangle region (Raleigh, Durham, Chapel Hill) and northern Charlotte.
POSITION DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Greensboro Radiology is seeking a full-time, fellowship-trained neurointerventionalist to support our growing practice in North Carolina. The ideal candidate has a strong desire to work collaboratively with active and cutting-edge neurology, neurosurgery, neuro-oncology, and ENT practices. Experience with stroke imaging including CT angiography, CT perfusion, MRI and large vessel stroke thrombectomy is necessary as we serve a comprehensive stroke center and its extensive network of associated hospitals.
Our stroke service is currently one of the busiest in the state of North Carolina with the highest volume of stroke related admissions in the state. Additionally, experience with the full gamut of neurointerventional procedures is desired, including, but not limited to, intracranial aneurysm repair, intracranial, dural and facial AVM treatment, vertebral angiography and arterial interventions, vertebral augmentation and radiofrequency ablation.Our practice offers strong clinical support with a dedicated out-patient clinic and a team of physician assistants. This opportunity is a full-time, partnership-track position. Overnight subspecialty neuroradiology coverage is provided by neuroradiologists in our Hawaii office. The position includes a generous compensation package and a slate of benefits (including a fully funded 401k profit sharing plan with immediate vesting), as well as health, life, disability, malpractice insurance coverage.
DESIRED PROFESSIONAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
• Candidates must be a Doctor of Medicine or Osteopathy, Board-certified and residency trained in the
practice of Diagnostic Radiology
• Board certified/eligible by American Board of Radiology or the American Osteopathic Board of Radiology or
Board certified in Diagnostic Radiology
• Completed post-residency fellowship training in Neurointerventional radiology
• ABR subspecialty certification in Neuroradiology or eligibility to obtain such certification required
