Position Summary

Radiology Associates of Florida (RAF) is one of the top radiology practices in Florida offering a unique combination of hospital, outpatient, academic, research and teleradiology services. The group consists of 110+ sub-specialized radiologists covering Tampa General Hospital (TGH) as well as Tower Radiology’s 18 Imaging centers in the Tampa Bay area. TGH is a Level 1 trauma center as well as a designated comprehensive stroke center.

Radiology Associates of Florida, a Radiology Partners practice, is seeking a full-time fellowship trained Pediatric Radiologist to support our growing practice in Tampa, FL. The ideal candidate will be comfortable reading a mix of pediatric and adult imaging. The expected case mix is estimated to be 30% pediatric radiology and 70% adult diagnostic radiology. The schedule will be Monday-Friday, 220 shifts annually, from 8 a.m.-5 p.m. onsite at Tampa General Hospital as well as our Tower Radiology Outpatient Imaging Centers.

This opportunity is a full-time, partnership track position with a weekend requirement of only 10 weekend days/year and no overnight call. RAF offers the full range of benefits to include generous PTO and moonlighting opportunities.

Position duties and responsibIlities

• The ideal candidate will be comfortable reading a mix of pediatric and adult imaging.
• Ideal candidate will have an interest in working closely with residents and fellows at the University of South Florida

DESIRED PROFESSIONAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• Candidates must be a Doctor of Medicine or Osteopathy, Board-certified and residency trained in the practice of Diagnostic Radiology
• Completed a one-year post-residency fellowship training, in Pediatric Radiology
• CAQ/CAQ eligible for Pediatric Radiology
