POSITION SUMMARY

Radiology Associates of Florida (RAF) is hiring an interventional radiologist for its panhandle division to service Sacred Heart Hospital. Sacred Heart is a 560+-bed hospital located in sunny Pensacola, FL. Sacred Heart Pensacola is the flagship hospital for Ascension in the Panhandle of Florida. It is a level-II trauma center and carries the destination as a comprehensive stroke center. Sacred Heart is the market leader in healthcare in the community it serves and is actively investing capital to grow expand its reach. Because of the unlimited growth potential, the hospital is building three new suites for the division. You will become the third interventional radiologist dedicated to this hospital and is supported by RAF’s team of over 110 diagnostic and 17 interventional radiologists.

We are seeking a fellowship trained Interventional Radiologist as the third on the IR team working a schedule of 2 weeks on and 1 week off and provide Q3 call. Candidate will perform a wide range of IR procedures and to contribute diagnostically with capacity. Three (3) mid-levels are also a part of the team and assists this position by performing minor procedures and consults on the behalf of the practice.

POSITION DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform anywhere from 65-75% IR

• Procedures include angiography, embolization, Interventional Oncology, ablations, UFE’s, TIPS, etc.

• Department performs approximately 10,000 procedures annually

DESIRED PROFESSIONAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• Candidates must be fellowship trained in Interventional Radiology

• CAQ certified/eligible

• Current license or the ability to be licensed in the state of FL is required
