POSITION SUMMARY
Greensboro Radiology is a highly subspecialized private practice group with 80+ radiologists in central North Carolina and Virginia. As we continue to grow, we are in search of highly skilled radiologists to join our team!
The Greensboro Radiology mission is to lead radiology excellence through personalized and compassionate care. We have demonstrated this commitment to quality and service by implementing a single PACS/voice recognition environment throughout the areas we serve (our regional timeline). Currently our Woodbridge, Virginia location is not on this integrated system, but we are working with the hospital to implement the system in the coming months.

POSITION DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Greensboro Radiology is seeking a full-time, Breast Imager to support our growing practice in Woodbridge, Virginia. Fellowship training in breast is preferred. The ideal candidate can expect a heavy concentration in breast imaging including ultrasound, stereo and MRI guided breast biopsies, and they will also be flexible to read general radiology as needed, while we build the program. Candidates also need to be proficient in basic procedures such as LP, Fluoro and Joint Injections. A desire to work in a collaborative environment with the local surgeons, pathologists and oncologists is required.
This opportunity is offered as a full-time, partnership-track position working 13 weekends per year – from home (26 days). A home work station will be provided for weekends or if working a shift from home. Overnight call is not required. 13 weeks of PTO is provided as weekends worked and PTO are shared equally. The position includes a generous compensation package and a slate of benefits (including a fully funded 401k profit sharing plan with immediate vesting), as well as health, life, disability, malpractice insurance coverage, and ample moonlighting opportunities to significantly increase compensation as desired.
DESIRED PROFESSIONAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
• Candidates must be a Doctor of Medicine or Osteopathy, Board-certified and residency trained in the practice of Diagnostic Radiology
• Board certified/eligible by American Board of Radiology or the American Osteopathic Board of Radiology or
Board certified in Diagnostic Radiology
• A one-year post residency fellowship in Breast Imaging is preferred
• MQSA certification is required
