POSITION SUMMARY

We have an open position for a Board-Certified radiologist in Nuclear Medicine. This partnership track equity position includes high level subspecialized Nuclear Medicine in addition to a variety of rotations which are shared by the group members. Radiology Partners Phoenix, our local division of Radiology Partners, is located in the East Valley of the Phoenix metropolitan area. Originally established in 1965, our team is made up of 45 fellowship-trained sub-specialty radiologists from well-known academic centers, four highly trained PAs, as well as support staff radiology assistants covering 24 x 7 to help with referring physician phone calls, call reports and overall general radiologist support.


POSITION DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responsible for interpreting nuclear medicine examinations and providing technical expertise on a great variety of nuclear medicine studies including a high volume of PET/CT (predominately oncologic), inpatient and outpatient nuclear medicine studies such as DAT scans, Octreoscans, parathyroid and cardiac imaging, as well as other routine nuclear medicine imaging procedures
  • Comfortable with general radiology and general procedures
  • This position does not include any breast related imaging or vascular related interventional procedures

  • Desire to become a team member and part of an existing cohesive team


DESIRED PROFESSIONAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum one year post-residency Nuclear Medicine fellowship training
  • Board eligible or certified by American Board of Radiology or the American Osteopathic Board of Radiology
