PRACTICE & POSITION SUMMARY

Midwest Imaging Professionals seeks a fellowship-trained body radiologist to join our practice in Chicago, Illinois. The successful applicant will receive market competitive pay and work 190-200 shifts per year, allowing for ample paid time off. Shifts are both remote and onsite at one of five area hospitals, the locations of which allow for ideal commuting either from the Chicago city center or surrounding suburbs. Remote moonlighting can also be performed for additional compensation. The group is collegial and entrepreneurial and dedicated subspecialty and quality teams allow everyone to participate in the dynamics of the practice. Shifts are subspecialty focused and, through growth and cooperation with regional partner practices, our goal is to achieve close to a 100% subspecialty work offering within the next 1-2 years.

The position covers all facets of body imaging, including abdominal and pelvic ultrasound, CT and MRI. No procedure work is required. Participation in the body subspecialty team is requested, ranging from interdisciplinary meetings, consultations with referrers, updating protocols and building new business. Time is split between body imaging work and occasional daytime and evening ER shifts. Weekend work is shared equally, and the majority can be performed remotely. No night work is required.

PROFESSIONAL SKILLS AND EXPERTISE

  • Fellowship trained in body imaging
  • Board-certified or eligible by the American Board of Radiology or the American Osteopathic Board of Radiology
  • Illinois licensure
  • DEA licensure
