PRACTICE OVERVIEW
Radiology Alliance physicians work with the nine TriStar Health System hospitals in Middle Tennessee and Southern Kentucky as well as Tennova Healthcare in Clarksville, TN and many other treatment and outpatient imaging centers.
Long known as Music City U.S.A., Nashville is a major hub for health care, publishing, banking and transportation and is recognized as one of the best places to live in the U.S. Residents and visitors alike enjoy a vast amount of fun and entertainment year round, including an abundance of parks, waterways and recreational areas and a thriving arts and cultural scene. The city has many major and minor league sports teams, and there are several opportunities for higher education through such institutions as Vanderbilt University and Tennessee State University. The cost of living is low and there is no personal income tax.
POSITION SUMMARY
Radiology Alliance is seeking a full-time fellowship-trained Breast Imager to support our growing practice in Nashville, Tennessee. All aspects of breast imaging including screening exams are only interpreted by the breast section in our highly subspecialized model. The ideal candidate can expect a heavy concentration in dedicated breast imaging including ultrasound, stereo and MRI guided breast biopsies. A desire to work in a collaborative environment with the local surgeons, pathologists and oncologists is required. When not scheduled for a dedicated breast imaging shift, radiologists maintain proficiency with non-subspecialty diagnostic imaging on general diagnostic shifts.
This opportunity is a full-time, partnership-track position with shared weekend call. The position includes a generous compensation package and a slate of benefits (including a fully funded 401k profit sharing plan with immediate vesting), as well as health, life, disability, malpractice insurance coverage, and substantial PTO.
POSITION DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Serves as a representative of the practice in the field of Breast Imaging, joining various committees to share subject matter expertise. Primarily responsible for mammography and providing assistance on the general hospital worklist as capacity allows, focusing on US, XR and STAT CT. General diagnostic imaging shifts available at the needs of the practice.
