Locum/Permanent - Private Practice Partnership IR Opportunity in Northern California Central Valley
Subspecialty: Interventional Radiology
SMART Physician Recruiting is partnered with an established private practice radiology group that is in search of an interventional radiologist to join their team. This sub-specialized group currently has over 20 radiologists and is hiring due to an upcoming relocation. This unique opportunity is located within just a few hours driving distance from some of the best locations that California has to offer including Yosemite National Park, Lake Tahoe, San Francisco, and Monterey just to name a few. Interested candidates must be IR fellowship trained and actively licensed (or willing/able to gain licensure) in CA. Locum and locum to permanent candidates will be considered.
Salary: Competitive starting salary plus full benefits package
Locum Rate: $2,600/9-hr shift plus travel, lodging and medical malpractice with tail coverage plus additional compensation for call coverage
Benefits: Top-notch benefits package valued over $100k/year including retirement, medical/dental/vision insurance, medical malpractice insurance, relocation assistance, etc
Schedule: Primarily Monday-Friday from 8a-5p with equally shared call/weekend coverage
Call: 1:4
Case Mix: 75% - 99% IR with minimal plain film expectation
Procedures: Comprehensive IR program including advanced procedures for treatment of PAD, venous disease, IR oncology (Y-90), kyphoplasty, GI/GU disease. AAA / Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm, Carotid Stenting, Stroke, Venous Disease & Filters, Vertebroplasty
Facilities: 2 local hospitals and outpatient IR clinic
Vacation: 6-10 weeks
