Camellia Women’s Imaging is a private breast imaging center in Birmingham, AL. The center is run and owned by a fellowship trained breast radiologist and is focused on providing top quality care. Camellia Women’s Imaging performs 3D mammography, breast ultrasound, bone density and stereotactic, ultrasound and 3D guided breast biopsies. Our focus is providing the best technology, highest quality care, while minimizing patient anxiety that is associated with the breast imaging process. We are highly focused on excellent communication with patients and have a very positive work environment. At Camellia, we concentrate on providing state of the art personalized care for our patients, offering same day mammogram and breast ultrasound results in a low stress outpatient environment. Currently we have Hologic 3D and Clarity HD mammography, Securview workstations, and integrated Erad RIS and PACS. Position Summary and RequirementsThe ideal applicant is a board certified or board eligible fellowship trained breast imager capable of performing breast imaging guided procedures including ultrasound guided, stereotactic, MRI guided and 3D guided core needle biopsies and needle localizations. Additionally, the ideal candidate should enjoy communicating with patients and discussing their results.The work hours are standard business hours Monday through Friday with no call or weekend work necessary.
