Private Practice - Overnight Radiologist (6 pm - 3 am)

Central Illinois Radiological Associates (CIRA) is an independent, physician owned private practice radiology group with 90+ physicians providing imaging interpretation and imaged guided intervention services to ambulatory facilities, clinics and hospitals located in the Midwest. CIRA’s multi-site platform has created a unique work model that has cultivated a thriving and enjoyable work environment with consistent growth and success. Our radiologists have developed positive, respected relationships within the communities they operate.

We are currently recruiting a radiologist, in any discipline, to provide remote or onsite overnight coverage at a Level I trauma hospital in Springfield, Illinois. The radiologist will interpret imaging within their subspecialty as well as other studies that occur overnight including neuroradiology, pediatrics, body imaging and general diagnostic interpretations. In addition, we are looking for candidates with strong interpersonal & communication skills to cultivate relationships with hospitals, physicians, employees and patients who want to make the “CIRA Difference” in providing quality patient care to those we serve.

This position provides remote or onsite night coverage from 6:00 p.m. – 3:00 a.m. The position is scheduled two (2) weeks on, two (2) weeks off over a minimum of seventeen (17) weeks per year. (However, the candidate can elect to work up to twenty-six (26) weeks per year.)
