POSITION SUMMARY

Radiology Associates of Florida (RAF) is one of the top radiology practices in Florida offering a unique combination of hospital, outpatient, academic, research and teleradiology services. We are physician-owned and democratically run. The group consists of 120+ sub-specialized radiologists covering Florida in the West, North, Central and Southwest regions.

We are excited to recruit for a full-time on-site daytime radiologist to support our growing practice in Sarasota and Venice, FL. This is an exciting opportunity to work in the state-of-the-art hospitals of the growing Sarasota Memorial Health Care system. You will have the opportunity to practice the full range of Neuroradiology, working in a Comprehensive Stroke Center, alongside an affiliated Cancer Institute. You will join a robust team that is a mix of clinically-oriented radiologists, educators and researchers. Our advanced PACS environment provides frictionless communication with referring physicians, and easy image-sharing for collaboration with other on-duty radiologists. We also have a growing opportunity to use Artificial Intelligence tools in our practice.

This is a full time, 8am – 5pm, partnership track eligible position with a weekend requirement of only 10 weekend shifts per year (i.e. five 2-day weekends). We offer an excellent and highly competitive compensation package to include unlimited moonlighting opportunities and a full range of benefits, 8 weeks PTO, the ability to “buy” or “sell” weekend shifts and holidays, 401K and med mal.

POSITION DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Neuroradiology and General Radiology
  • Mammography is not required, but if a candidate wishes to maintain MQSA certification, they will be accomodated
  • Procedures are not required, but capability in LP and myelography is a plus

DESIRED PROFESSIONAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Must be a Doctor of Medicine or Osteopathy, Board-certified and residency trained in the practice of Diagnostic Radiology
  • Completed one year of post-residency fellowship training in Neuroradiology
  • American Board of Radiology (ABR) certified or eligible
  • Licensed or have the ability to be licensed in the state of FL
