We provide general teleradiology services primarily to the Veterans Administration (VA) and private sector. If you are looking for a 7-on/14-off general teleradiology position, VMG is hiring. Sub-specialty expertise is a plus. You must be able to work independently from your home office or remote workspace of your choosing. California medical license required, California AND Texas licensed preferred!

VMG has immediate need for a radiologist to cover 7-on / 14-off from 8pm – 4am PST. Most volume is from various VA and private hospital Emergency Rooms.

For the radiologist that is looking to practice medicine and help build a world-class organization, this is the perfect opportunity for you. We are corporate without being corporate. You will interact daily with the founders. Every day will be interesting and exciting, and we will support you to achieve all of your professional and personal goals.

We provide 24 hour / 7 days per week operations and technical support. You will read using a state-of-the-art and top-rated teleradiology PACS system. You will read cases that are sent to VMG electronically from our client hospitals and will read and dictate final reports for electronic transmission back to our clients. Must be able to read cases efficiently and enjoy a relatively fast-paced, productive work environment.

Functional Title: 7-on/14-off Radiologist / Teleradiologist.

Primary Working Hours:7 Days on from 8pm until 4am Pacific Time.

Shifts Description:Minimum commitment is for the radiologist to read 17 weeks per year, 7 days per week, 8 hours per shift or longer.

Compensation Method: Per Study basis. Rates vary per modality.

Estimated Compensation:

  • Full-time - $400k - $600k.
  • Part-time - $150k - $250k.

Requirements:

  • Current, full and unrestricted license to practice medicine or surgery in the state of California. California AND Texas licenses, even better.
  • Background and/or Security Investigation required.
  • Selective Service Registration is required for males born after 12/31/1959.
  • Must be proficient in written and spoken English.
  • Citizenship of the United States.
  • Degree of doctor of medicine or an equivalent degree resulting from a course of education in medicine or osteopathic medicine.
  • Board certified.
  • Minimal malpractice.
