Saline Valley Diagnostic Radiology (SVDR) in Illinois & Indiana is experiencing continual growth and expansion to new markets. SVDR has served the Southern Illinois/Indiana Community for over 40 years providing diagnostic and light interventional services to ten (10) Southern Illinois hospitals, one (1) hospital in Indiana and affiliated clinics, two (2) outpatient-imaging center and express care center.

SVDR operates with an internal 24/7 Results Communication Center support team (CORE = Center of Radiology Excellence) to coordinate care and clinical contact. This clinical team is an extension of our Radiologists, which helps in reducing day-to-day administrative minutiae. The Advisory Board Company and the American College of Radiology have both recognized this as an innovative customer service function. SVDR continually reviews and improves their radiology service through new clinical initiatives, research, artificial intelligence, and best practices that provide proven value to patients and payors.

POSITION SUMMARY

Saline Valley Diagnostic Radiology is seeking a full-time, Remote Diagnostic radiologist to support our growing practice in Washington, Indiana. This candidate will have the opportunity to work remotely during week days and will occasionally need on site reading but will have no expectations to read during nights, weekends, or holidays. The candidate must be capable of reading diagnostic imaging, providing onsite procedures, and be MQSA Certified. They must maintain a desire to work in a collaborative environment with local referring physicians.

POSITION DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Be comfortable with all aspects of diagnostic radiology including mammography (MQSA) and light interventional work. Possess the ability to perform (or willingness to learn) minor invasive procedures.
  • Medical Director/Hospital Committee involvement required.
  • All interested Radiologists must exhibit dedication to support, grow and develop the Radiology Department.

DESIRED PROFESSIONAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Candidates will be residency-trained in Diagnostic Radiology and Board-Certified or Board-Eligible (recent graduates falling under the new ABR guidelines).
  • Licensed, or have the ability to be licensed in Illinois and Indiana
