Medical X-Ray Consultants is a group of 8 collegial radiologists that serve communities in beautiful Northwest Wisconsin. The practice covers a diverse group of primarily rural hospitals performing the breadth of diagnostic imaging as well as interventional services to include more basic interventional services at our smaller community hospitals and more advanced interventional services including stroke thrombectomy and oncology intervention at Sacred Heart Hospital in Eau Claire.

Eau Claire is located at the confluence of the crystal clear Eau Claire and Chippewa Rivers. According to a recent study released by Smart Asset in 2020, Eau Claire is the third most livable small city in the United States. Experience all four seasons in the beautiful upper Midwest. Eau Claire has numerous parks and lakes for biking, hiking, swimming, boating, fishing, tubing and kayaking. For those who continue their outdoor adventures in the winter, the community offers their patrons access to ice skating, ice hockey, ice fishing, snowboarding, cross country skiing, and sledding. MXC is seeking a well-trained General Radiologist. An MSK trained radiologist is highly desired, but we are open to all those fellowships trained. This is an onsite position with an opportunity to also work remotely from home from time to time. This is a partnership track position with a typical 8a.m-4:30pm schedule. The practice currently covers their own evening, overnight and weekend shifts split equally amongst the team.

  • Full range of diagnostic radiology including General Radiology/X-Ray, Body Imaging, Cardiac/Cardiovascular, Computed Tomography, Computed Tomography Angiography (head, neck, chest, abdomen, pelvis, lower extremity), MRI, Musculoskeletal, Neuroradiology, Nuclear Medicine, Pediatrics, Ultrasound, Emergency Radiology
  • Comfortable reading mammography and performing breast procedures
  • Proven track record of outstanding interpersonal and communication skills is expected


  • Candidates must be a Doctor of Medicine or Osteopathy, Board-certified and residency trained in the practice of Diagnostic Radiology
  • Candidates must be American Board of Radiology or American Board of Osteopathic Radiology eligible or certified
  • Wisconsin & Minnesota medical licensed or the ability to obtain is required
