POSITION SUMMARY

Radiology Partners Indiana is seeking a full-time fellowship trained Interventional Radiologist who is well rounded and comfortable with Diagnostic Radiology interpretations. Radiology Partners Indiana is a subspecialty practice of 30 physicians that services patients in the Northern Indiana towns of Hammond, Dyer, Crown Point, Michigan City and Munster. A successful candidate will be joining a team operating in two “State of the Art” Angiography Suites, capable of supporting the performance of the full spectrum of vascular and non-vascular procedures. The IR Service offers dedicated and supportive staff with significant opportunities to grow relationships with specialists practicing at the hospital through the attendance and participation in multidisciplinary conferences, as well as participation in new hospital sponsored vascular institute/multidisciplinary clinic. Located close to Chicago, Hammond is where academia intersects culture and community. Located on the Lake Michigan and Lake Calumet River, Hammond is a diverse community that is home to Purdue University Calumet, and one of the first professional football teams, Hammond Professionals. The area offers 950 acres of parks, a marina and lake font. Hammond is a great place to raise a family, with highly affordable housing, excellent public and private school options, and numerous festivals.

Candidates must be residency-trained in Diagnostic Radiology and Board-Certified or Eligible in Diagnostic Radiology. Fellowship training in Interventional Radiology is required and ABR certification in IR is a plus.

POSITION DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • IR call would be 1:5 weeks to be shared equally with the other interventionalists
  • No diagnostic call – participation is expected on the diagnostic worklist when IR cases are not being performed and IR physicians are not involved in activities to grow the program or the Practice is needing assistance reading the case list
  • The IR Service offers a full spectrum of vascular and non-vascular interventions
