Southern Indiana Radiological Associates (SIRA)
SIRA is currently seeking partnership track onsite radiologists with a desire to perform general radiology with subspecialty interest in breast, body, msk or neuroradiology.


SIRA is a small private community radiology practice located in Bloomington, IN.


SIRA serves 4 hospitals and a full-service breast and imaging center. The largest hospital is IU Health Bloomington, a 250-bed regional referral center. This hospital is moving to a brand new $500 million facility in December 2021 located on the Indiana University Campus. The three other hospitals are all located within 1 hour of Bloomington and onsite coverage at these facilities is limited. All four hospitals are part of IU health, the largest health system in the state. The imaging center is a 50/50 partnership with IU Health. SIRA partners are 50% partners and manage the center. All locations are on the same pacs system (Fuji) and also use Powerscribe.


SIRA doctors enjoy a combination of general radiology and subspecialty reads. Night coverage and week-end coverage is limited.
Typical work week is 4 days with average 180-190 shifts/year. Vacation is typical 8-12 weeks depending on the number of people in the group. Salary is competitive and above average. Time to partnership 1 year. No tiered partnership. Full Benefits package, including 401K.
