Empire State Radiology (ESR), an affiliate of Radiology Partners, is one of the leading radiology practices on Long Island, New York. ESR has over 30 physicians (and growing!) and provides radiology services for 4 outpatient imaging centers and 6 hospitals in the Catholic Health system. All 6 hospitals are NYSDOH designated Stroke Centers. ESR physicians are board certified with subspecialties in Neuroradiology, Musculoskeletal, Pediatrics and Women's Diagnostic Imaging.

POSITION SUMMARY

Interventional Radiologist – Suffolk County (East Sites)

• Good Samaritan Hospital – West Islip, NY
• St. Catherine of Sienna Medical Center – Smithtown, NY
• St. Charles Hospital – Port Jefferson, NY
• St. Catherine Diagnostic Imaging

ESR is currently seeking a fellowship-trained Interventional Radiologist. The ideal start date is January of 2022. The radiologist will rotate through ESR’s East Sites in Suffolk County. The primary work location will be Good Samaritan in West Islip. Secondary locations will be St. Catherine of Sienna in Smithtown and St. Charles in Port Jefferson. Good Samaritan is an ACS verified Level II trauma center. This position is full-time, Monday through Friday day shifts with shared evening and weekend call. Weekend call rotation is 1 week per month.

POSITION DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• 100% IR
• Comfortable with all aspects of Interventional Radiology
• Call is IR only, Q4
• Diagnostic Radiology optional however, encouraged to assist when needed
• 9 weeks of PTO
• 2 years to partnership

DESIRED PROFESSIONAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• Fellowship training in Interventional Radiology. Minimum of one year of fellowship training.
• Residency training in Diagnostic Radiology from an accredited U.S. training program.
• American Board of Radiology (ABR) certified or eligible; CAQ certified or eligible.

• Licensed or have the ability to be licensed in the state of NY
