Neuroradiologist - Austin, TX
Subspecialty: Neuroradiology

Austin Radiological Association is a nationally renowned radiology practice with a 65-year history of providing exceptional service and clinical care to the patients of Austin and Central Texas. As one of the largest radiology groups in the country, with 115 radiologists representing all subspecialties, it is ranked in the top 10 on the Radiology Business Journal’s Radiology 100.

We are seeking a daytime neuroradiologist for a partnership track position to join our cohesive neuroradiology section of 24 fellowship trained neuroradiologists in Austin. The ideal candidate would be comfortable with the full spectrum of high end neuroradiology in both the hospital and outpatient setting. Procedure expectations would include lumbar punctures, myelograms, and epidural blood patches. In house neurointerventional radiologists are available to cover any advanced procedure requests. The work environment is highly collegial with 14 subspecialist neuroradiologists working per day with lively daily discussion and sharing of interesting cases in our internal chat system. Our workflow is highly optimized for efficiency and includes radiology assistants/support staff, onsite IT, and optional private or common reading rooms. We cover a range of facility types including stroke centers and level I trauma centers. The schedule has proven to be sustainable and the case mix is rewarding.

Partnership track is 2 years in length with 8 weeks of vacation per year as an associate and a competitive starting salary. Malpractice and health insurance is fully covered and your 401k is fully funded by the group. Partnership salary is above the national MGMA average with 13 total weeks of time off per year. Roughly a third of our outpatient imaging shifts and several of the weekend call shifts are able to be performed remotely from home workstations. Ample optional internal weekend or evening moonlighting opportunities are available to earn extra income.

ARA serves 20 hospitals and operates 17 outpatient imaging centers. ARA is partnered with the Dell Medical School at the University of Texas to redefine how diagnostic testing is designed, delivered and leveraged to improve the health. As a Radiology Partners practice, we are an innovative practice focused on transforming how radiologists provide consistently exceptional services to hospitals, imaging centers, referring physicians and patients.
