Well-established Physician-owned Northern California private practice is seeking a full-time diagnostic radiologist with emphasis in Neuroradiology. The Clinical practice includes two robust free standing Imaging centers as well as covering local hospitals. Our main hospital is a very busy comprehensive stroke center; the primary referral hospital in the region, as well as a busy Trauma Cener.

A 1-year partnership track position is offered. This requires general radiology work and weekend daytime call, which is staffed from a remote home workstation. Some weekday general radiology shifts can be done remotely as well. Our nighthawk service covers the late evening and overnight shifts.

Our group of physicians includes radiologists with IR, NIR, Neuro, MSK, Body Imaging, MRI, Nuclear Medicine, and Breast Imaging fellowship training. We are recruiting due to a senior partner retiring.

We are located in the Northern California Central Valley in close proximity to the San Francisco Bay Area, but with dramatically lower cost of living. The climate is great for outdoor lifestyles with a short drive to local skiing, Lake Tahoe, Yosemite, Napa Valley wine country, San Francisco, and the beaches of Santa Cruz and Monterey. Some of the physicians live in the Central Valley, while others live in the San Francisco Bay Area with an easy reverse commute.

Candidates will enjoy a generous salary and benefits package, comprehensive health, disability, and other insurance, covered malpractice with tail, paid licenses and dues, paid relocation, and retirement benefits with a profit-sharing plan. Our group provides teleradiology and home reading options. Personal satisfaction and lifestyle are valued by our practice.

Job Requirements

Candidates must be board certified or board eligible in radiology and either have an active California medical license or be eligible for unrestricted licensure in California.
