POSITION SUMMARY

We are seeking to add a motivated Diagnostic Radiologist to our well-established, multi-specialty practice in Anchorage, Alaska! This opportunity is full time, offering extremely generous compensation, vacation and full benefits including malpractice insurance, disability and health insurance / HSA, 401K and CME allowance.

Alaska Radiology Associates (ARA) is Alaska’s largest private practice radiology group and is dedicated to providing a full range of high-quality imaging and professional radiology services. Founded in 1969, we provide full-spectrum imaging and interventional services for the largest hospital in the State of Alaska as well as outpatient imaging centers located in Anchorage and the Mat-Su Valley. Further, we provide subspecialized teleradiology services for clients from Nome and Kotzebue to Dutch Harbor and Skagway. We work closely with leading healthcare providers to diagnose and treat patients in a professional, accessible, and compassionate manner.

For associate and partner hires, ARA and RP provide a pathway for direct equity investment in state of the art premier outpatient imaging centers in Alaska and encourages investment in RP as well.

DESIRED PROFESSIONAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• Fellowship training in Neuroradiology, Body Imaging, or Musculoskeletal Imaging with strong General Radiology skills
• Ability to perform basic general radiology procedures such as arthrograms, lumbar punctures, paracentesis/thoracentesis, and basic US and CT guided biopsy and drain procedures
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills; focused on Radiology as a service to our patients and referring providers alike
• Fellows and residents welcome to apply
• Board eligible or certified by American Board of Radiology or the American Osteopathic Board of Radiology

• Typical schedule is 8-5, M-F, Associates average 4 Sat-Sun Weekends per year which are 7-7 shifts
