Diagnostic Radiologist Opportunity in Wyoming

A local Radiology Partners division, Medical Imaging Associates (MIA) is the leading radiology practice based in Idaho Falls, ID and provides comprehensive imaging services in ID, WY, and MT. Our 30 radiologists provide the full spectrum of inpatient and outpatient radiology, diagnostic and interventional, general and subspecialty, day and night, on-site and remote.

POSITION SUMMARY

Medical Imaging Associates is seeking a full-time General or Fellowship trained Radiologist to live in the Lander/Riverton, Wyoming area. The ideal radiologist will be comfortable with all aspects of general diagnostic radiology, including mammography, and be able to perform basic procedures.

This opportunity is full-time, with a two year partnership track, and primarily Monday – Friday, with light remote weekend/evening/overnight duties available.

Work responsibilities are primarily general based within critical access hospitals. However, MIA employs a regional PACS, which also enables radiologists to practice within a variety of subspecialties if desired.

The Lander/Riverton area of Wyoming is an ideal outdoor community with close proximity to Yellowstone National Park, Grand Teton National Park, and the Wind River Mountain Range.

POSITION DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Screening/diagnostic mammography, breast US, and breast procedures.
• Basic image guided procedures.
• Position includes local travel within a 2-hour radius every other week. Travel and food expenses are practice paid.

DESIRED PROFESSIONAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• General Radiology trained. Fellowship trained is a plus, but not required.
• American Board of Radiology (ABR) certified or eligible.
• American Osteopathic Board of Radiology (AOBR) certified or eligible.
• MSQA Certification.
• Licensed or ability to be licensed in Idaho, Wyoming, and Montana.
