Remote Daytime General Radiologist

POSITION SUMMARY

Specialists in Medical Imaging (SMI) is searching for a full-time BC/BE Remote Daytime General Radiologist who is well rounded and comfortable with all Diagnostic Radiology interpretations including General, Body, MRI and Ultrasound. Specialists in Medical Imaging is a subspecialty private practice radiology group in Central Illinois.

LOCAL PRACTICE AND COMMUNITY OVERVIEW

• Full-Time Day Shift Position
• Work from home – workstation provided by practice
• Monday through Friday – 7:30am – 5:30 pm
• W-2 position with full benefits, including health and dental insurance, malpractice insurance, 401K, profit-sharing and tax-deductible professional expense account. Alternatively, an Independent Contractor position can be arranged
• Weekend calls and Holiday calls equal to approximately 1 every 5 or 6 weekends. Holiday calls are 1 or 2 per year.
• Backup calls are 1 every 10th week without required reading, only available to read in a rare staffing emergency

DESIRED PROFESSIONAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• Candidates will be residency-trained in Diagnostic Radiology and Board-Certified or Board-Eligible (recent graduates falling under the new ABR guidelines).
• Experience in general radiology, MRI, Body imaging, Breast, prostate, cardiac and MSK MRI would be a bonus.
