POSITION SUMMARY

The Valley Radiologists (VSDI) has an immediate need for a Board-Certified fellowship-trained Musculoskeletal Radiologist to fill a full-time outpatient onsite position within our practice in Phoenix, Arizona. A specific position sought for those with training/experience in Musculoskeletal Imaging. We have a busy MSK practice, and we work closely with orthopedic surgeons who request high level MRI and CT imaging and interpretations skills across all joints and extremities. We also incorporate musculoskeletal ultrasound imaging in our practice, and perform procedures, predominantly joint injections and arthrograms.

PRACTICE OVERVIEW

Valley Radiologists (VSDI), established 1961, is a founding member of Southwest Diagnostic Imaging (SDI) that has more than 120 radiologists across the Phoenix area. Our VSDI team has of over 30 fellowship-trained sub-specialty radiologists from well-known academic centers. Offering full-service inpatient and outpatient imaging in the Phoenix Metropolitan area since 1961, we service 3 hospitals and 13 physician owned imaging centers. The practice is digital and includes 3T MR, 80+ slice CT, 3 ACR Breast Imaging Centers of Excellence, PET/CT and full Interventional Radiology services.

POSITION DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• 210 shifts per year with full benefits. Commencement bonus, relocation expense, and internal moonlighting offered
• Schedule flexibility
• Minimal Call and weekends
• A partnership track position adds general call responsibilities with a similar annual work shift total
• 75-100% MSK

DESIRED PROFESSIONAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• Candidates will be residency-trained in Diagnostic Radiology and Board-Certified or Board-Eligible (recent graduates falling under the new ABR guidelines)
• Arizona licensure is a must
