POSITION SUMMARY

RP of Southern California is seeking an Interventional Radiologist open to participating in diagnostic coverage. This role would be a split between the two, and practicing out of our Lakewood, CA location in support of Fountain Valley Regional Hospital.

LOCAL PRACTICE AND COMMUNITY OVERVIEW

RP Southern California is a comprehensive Radiology group that services the southern California region and multiple hospital systems within it. We are a multi-disciplinary group that covers diagnostic, body, MSK, Breast and IR throughout the region.

Lakewood, California is a warm, inclusive city with a sophisticated, metropolitan feel with a vibrant arts, music, fashion and design community. Plenty of restaurants, casinos, shopping, golfing, hiking and other outdoor activities; and very close in proximity to Los Angeles for quick trips. Many festivals and events occur throughout the year in Lakewood, including Pan American Fiesta and Summer Concerts in the Park, which is held on Thursday evenings in the summer. It also has great access to Disneyland and Universal Studios.

DESIRED PROFESSIONAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Residency training in Diagnostic Radiology from an ACGME accredited U.S. training program
  • Fellowship training in Interventional Radiology
  • Board eligible or certified by American Board of Radiology (ABR) or the American Osteopathic Board of Radiology (AOBR)
  • Licensed or has the ability to obtain a license in the state of California
