The emergency ultrasound director will be a board-certified emergency physician who has a minimum of 3 years of experience after an EM ultrasound fellowship and who will be be given administrative oversight of the emergency ultrasound program from the EM Chief, Manish Sharma DO, MBA, FACEP. In addition to coordination of education, machine acquisition and maintenance, the US director is responsible for developing, monitoring, and revising the QA process.
