Group of six in western Missouri seeks a full-time on-site general radiologist to round out their staffing needs. Need is ASAP but summer 2023 grads and job seekers are encouraged to apply. This is an incredible opportunity for a well-rounded generalist to align with a very well-trained general radiology group and help them continue to serve their community. Enjoy working in a modern hospital less than ten years old equipped with state-of-the-art equipment and IR suites. This hopsital casts a wide net and serves its surrounding four states that have an endless number of patients with needs for various service and studies that this practice has provided for decades. They are offering immediate income parity along with equal 12 weeks vacation and their benefit package on top of $650K W-2 income equals an additional $125K.

Ideally, they'd find someone willing to relocate and work on-site that is a well-rounded generalist able to do most everything. But if there are a certain modalities a candidate is not comfortable with they can possibly work around those limitations. As a group they do only very basic IR procedures: para/thora, LPs, basic biopsies, etc and are never called back in to the hospital overnight. Hospital pays for overnight telerad 8 pm-7 am during the week and weekends are limited to nine-hour days so 1:6 call weekends doing manageable volume and a week off per month. With seven rads they can offer the Monday off after a call weekend.

This is a great community to live in and raise or start a family. The COL is very low and there is plenty of culture in the area with artists, restaurants and chefs working to build up the downtown area. There are also outlying wineries as well as many other historical and entertaining attractions. They have a regional airport with several flights per day and close proximity to larger airports. You'd be hard pressed to find a small city with more everyday amenities. It is a college town with a small public university offering a vast array of degrees and studies from business to education to health sciences to the arts as well as law enforcement.
