TOP COMPENSATION AND TIME OFF – 17 WEEKS!
LOW CASE VOLUME – 48 / WEEK DAY!
FULL OR PART TIME
A full or part time position for a diagnostic radiologist well versed in all areas of radiology has become available in Rock Springs, Wyoming. This relaxed environment, lifestyle oriented, democratic practice with two other full time radiologists is seeking a third radiologist to join the team and be an equal from day one with compensation, vacation, and decision making.
Tax advantageous independent contractor compensation is offered. Employed position considered if desired.
Vacation is 17 weeks off for the full time position! Enjoy every third week to explore the area's many outdoor activities ranging from skiing at nearby resorts in Park City and Salt Lake City, Utah or White Pine in Wyoming. Hiking and biking as well as off road vehicle trails are everywhere. Snowmobile in nearby areas, including one of the largest snowmobile and cross country skiing areas in the country. The local airport here in Rock Springs will take you directly to Denver International Airport in less than an hour with daily flights offered. This is your ticket to visit the world on your extensive time off.
The part time position offers 26 weeks off per year.
Let burn out be a thing of the past. Average daily case load (M-F) per radiologist is 48!
Daily volumes (total) shared by two radiologists working together each week (M-F) are as follows:
X-ray: 35/day
CT: 28/day
MRI: 8/day
US: 17/day
Mammo: OPTIONAL - NONE REQUIRED for joining radiologist
Nucs: 2/day
Fluoro: 1-3/day
Interventional: 1-2/day (basic procedures: thoracentesis, paracentesis, arthrograms, L.P., thyroid FNA, breast via mammo or US)
State of the art imaging equipment in all modalities (x-ray, CT, MRI, US, mammo, Nucs, and fluoro). PET every other week to service our cancer center.
Hospital is completely digital with DR (IBM) PACS with PACS integrated voice recognition.
Call is shared equally by all three radiologists from 5 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. (M-F) as well as weekends 7 a.m. to 10:30 p.m. (weekends). Call volume is typically light. After 10:30 p.m. each night, VRC takes over providing preliminary interpretations. X-rays on call after 5 p.m. are interpreted the next day (included in the daily numbers above).

Horseback riding abounds. Local stables available for horse ownership. Nationally recognized area for wild horses and tours.
