DX/IR Radiologist Needed in Central Florida

• Locums coverage min 5 shifts per month
• 70 Bed Hospital and surrounding sites--must be willing to cross credential
• Starting ASAP-ongoing
• Credentialing Timeframe: 90 Days
• Offering $300/hr plus paid travel, lodging and malpractice

Shifts: Mon - Fri (9a-5p); No weekend hours at this site; however, there is weekend DX coverage in reading the work list: 12p-6p, 7a-1p, 1p-7a

Call: IR call (+ back-up IR call) covers all facilities *can assist in covering call if has the correct IR skillset. DX Rad on call covers all facilities.

Required Procedures: Basic IR (w/occasional PE thrombectomy) thoras, paras, CT guided drainages/biopsies, dialysis catheter placement, GI bleed, embolization

Daily DX Volume: Bulk of day is reading DX supporting other hospitals in reading

Daily IR Volume: 0-5 per day *anything outside of a simple para/thora takes longer at Poinciana

Daily Mammo Volume: Mammo/breast imagers in group. No breast biopsies. Bonus if has mammo skills.

% of Modality Split: CT 54%; Angi .12%; CT 30%; CTA .9%; MG .6%; MR 2.5%; NM .5%; US 11%

RVU Expectations: 8-10

Requirements include: FL State License, Board Certification
