Breast Radiologist (M-F, Days) *Sign On Bonus*

GENERAL DESCRIPTION/POSITION GOAL: Performs and interprets diagnostic imaging tests and interventional procedures or treatments that involve the use of X-ray, fluoroscopy, mammography, ultrasound, CT, Dexa nuclear medicine, PET/CT or MRI.

I. JOB RELATED FUNCTIONS:

• Examine different images including X-ray, fluoroscopy, mammography, ultrasound, CT, Dexa nuclear medicine, PET/CT or MRI.
• Read reports and record results for review by physicians
• Diagnose patient illnesses.
• Recommend and discuss treatment options with other physicians.
• Work alongside radiologic technologists/radiology technicians and other health professionals in administering treatment.
• Examine patients and record medical histories, as needed.
• May prescribe medication and carry out duties of a regular physician
• Administer nuclear medicine, oncology, or other radiation techniques to treat patients with illnesses or diseases.

II. CUSTOMER SERVICE EXPECTATIONS: Demonstrates competencies in customer service and an understanding SimonMed Imaging code of conduct and culture.

III. EQUIPMENT: Utilizes and operates equipment and mechanical devices which provide for a functional, effective, and safe environment. Expected to travel among sites, as needed.

IV. JOB RELATED AND PROFESSIONAL GROWTH: Adheres to policies, procedures, guidelines relative to departmental operations. Participation in specific activities for the promotion of self-growth or the enhancement of a positive image.

• Board Certified/Board Eligible
• Fellowship Trained
