Virginia’s Chesapeake Bay area seeks additional Rads!

Premier group of 45 Radiologists is seeking Radiologists. Open to both Partnership and employee positions. For partnership track positions salary will be competitive and call is as follows: week nights are covered by swing shift, hours are 3 pm until 10 pm. Weekend Call will be 1:4. All physicians receive a comprehensive benefit package. For Employed positions, vacation allotment is 8 weeks and it is 10 weeks for partnership track position. The IR’s get 12 weeks due to the extra call. Partnership track is in 12 months, first year income for a non-experienced rad is 85% of partners income and for experienced rad, first year income is 90% of partners income!

Neurorad –You will be joining 8 other Neuro trained rads. New hire can expect 50% Neuro with balance in general - average is 35 to 40 Cross Sectional per day. Hospital now has a Stroke Center and it is growing rapidly. Salary is will be competitive with increases each year until partnership.

Breast Imager- New hire will perform all facets of breast imaging including screening and diagnostic 3D mammography, breast ultrasound, and breast MRI. Stereotactic, ultrasound, and MRI guided procedures are performed daily. Localization procedures are performed using SaviScout technology. Part time and full time employee positions are available; no nights or call is required with these positions. Candidate can expect to spend the vast majority of time in breast imaging. No non-breast related IR procedures or fluoro required

MSK- New hire will join an existing team of 10 musculoskeletal radiologists. This position will be focused in MSK and the candidate will share in the general radiology workload (No mammography required). Depending on the candidate's skill set and comfort level, additional opportunities to read other specialties are available, but not required

Body Imager- This position will be focused in body imaging and the candidate will share in the general radiology workload (No mammography required).

IR – new hire will be working with 11 other IRs and can expect 40% IR with balance in general. Currently IR is Bread and Butter with the anticipation of growing Oncology, Y90, etc. It is the expectation that the IR section will grow to 100% over time. Salary is will be competitive with increases each year until partnership. IR must partake in general call, call is 1:4. When carrying beeper, IRs are paid additional $$ and receive additional dollars for any procedures that are done. IRs receive 12 weeks’ vacation due to extra call etc. IR partners earn around 500k. Once technical is in hand will be higher and a buy-in would be required for the technical corporation.
