Breast Imaging - Open Rank Position - Vanderbilt University Medical Center, Nashville, TN

The Department of Radiology and Radiologic Sciences at Vanderbilt University Medical Center is seeking a full-time mammographer for the clinician-educator or clinical practice academic tracks.

Position Summary:

• Section comprises of 16 faculty, 12 of whom are fellowship trained
• Teach medical students, residents, and fellows
• Focus on well-being, with a culture of collegiality, collaboration, & creativity
• Services provided to Vanderbilt Breast Center, two diagnostic centers, and six screening mammogram sites
• Opportunity to develop and grow professional interests
• Academic rank and salary are commensurate with experience
• Average commute is 20-30 minutes

Position Requirements:

• Fellowship training in breast imaging
• Hold an MD, DO, or equivalent degree
• ABR eligible/certified
• Eligible for TN license
• Comfortable with interpretation of mammograms, breast and axillary US, Breast MRI, interventional breast procedures
• Participate in multidisciplinary conferences and teach trainees and medical students
