Private practice group in a beautiful Missouri college town seeks a well-rounded general radiologist for a short term to partnership position that will net you in the top 10% of U.S. income for the specialty. This is an on-site position and teleradiologists will not be considered. This hard-working, stable group is losing a partner seeking a more academic pace, which creates the opening for someone private-practice minded that is looking for a solid position to settle into for the rest of their career. In exchange for a solid work ethic, great interpersonal skills, a vast skill base and an innate service-oriented practice philosophy this group will make you an equal income partner in a year enabling you to settle quickly into this city knowing you can stay as long as you like. They also staff themselves in a way that allows them to take a whole lot of time off to enjoy family, travel and hobbies (19 weeks total). The group also has an excellent relationship with the hospital as well as with all of their referring clinicians.

Ideally they would find someone able to do most all forms of MR, CT and US as well as being proficient with women's imaging including those related procedures. Mammo will not be a large chunk of your clinical time, especially if they are successful recruiting a breast imager along with this hire. Any interventional skills that could be offered would be put to good use during the day, but not looking for someone to do sub-specialized call. There is plenty of IR that could be developed up to and including procedures like vertebroplasties and kyphoplasties, but as long as you can perform an LP, a basic biopsy and perhaps biliary drainage procedures that's all they really need. They have a telerad service that covers overnight from 8 pm-6 am, so other than 1:6 long week days that you get the next day off for doing, it's a pretty nice lifestyle that they can offer. Weekend call can be done from home and they're almost never called back in to the hospital for anything.

The group gets along extremely well and they're looking for someone that would fit well into their collegial atmosphere. Your first telephone conversation will possibly be with a partner that has been there just two years. He can offer firsthand what his short tenure with the group has been like giving you what to expect while settling in with this fantastic practice.

Their need is ASAP but they can wait as long as the fall season for the right person. Call and/or email your CV for more information to
