Additional internal moonlighting shifts are available (currently daily 7p-9p, some weekdays 5p-9p and 9p-1a, weekends 10a-2p, 2p-6p, and 3p-7p). The night section currently has 8 nightrads, we are looking for the 9th, so that we can have three on at a time.

  • Typical shift is 150 cases - 40% CT, 10% US/MR, and 50% X-ray. RVU bonus for busy nights (productive nightrads make up to additional $1500/shift). Minimal phone calls with file room to screen calls and call-in critical results.
  • Candidates must be residency-trained in Diagnostic Radiology and Board-Certified. Prior work experience and any fellowship preferred. Must read from United States, including Puerto Rico. No prelim / international reads.

We currently use Fuji Synapse and Afga PACS with Powerscribe 360 and Clario smart list manager software that allows for chat messaging and case collaboration. We use Rad AI to automatically generate report impressions. We have 24/7 clinical extenders to minimize phone calls and non-clinical tasks.

Practice Description
Radiology Imaging Associates is a private, exclusively physician-owned practice in Central Florida with divisions in Ocala and Daytona. We are a group of more than 60 radiologists with numerous hospital and free-standing ER contracts from multiple hospital chains, our own outpatient imaging centers and equipment, multiple real estate holdings, and our own IT staff and servers. We also own a private practice in U.S. Virgin Islands that you can rotate/vacation at. We staff Level II Trauma Centers and certified Comprehensive Stroke Centers. Our group is one of the few remaining true private practices, and we intend to capitalize on the dissatisfaction with corporatized/private equity radiology. We have had consecutive years of double-digit growth and are looking to hire sincere, hard-working radiologists to help us to expand further.

Employees and partners are treated equally with equal pay for moonlighting shifts. We do not have a high turnover of employees. We strongly value workplace culture and do not support hierarchies, unequal work distribution/productivity, or cherry-picking. All of our employees and partners are hard-working, versatile, and cordial.
