Hours/Scheduling:Standard hours—shift length may be negotiable:5pm-1am CST
6pm-2am CST
8pm-4am CST
4am-noon CST
Noon-8pm CST -7-on 7-off or 7-on 14-off scheduling -3 week rotation that is equivalent in earnings for 7/14     Week 1 = Sun/Mon/Tues, Week 2 = Wed/Thurs/Fri/Sat, Week 3 = off -They are also open to a set rotation - for example someone who would work each week Thurs, Fri, Sat ... consistency is key

Volume/Case Mix/Earnings:-Typical volume for an average paced radiologist is roughly 130 cases over an 8-hour shift. Case mix is predominately bread and butter ED work, and about 60% cross-sectional imaging. They can filter out modalities you don't read.
-There is no volume quota to meet, radiologists can read at their own pace, the more they read the more they make. -Average paced Radiologist are earning around $750K annually. Faster-paced readers are earning seven figures.

Technology and Support:-Work station to be provided and monthly home internet stipend
-OnePacs/ RIS & Osirix is used as their viewer-Fluency used for Dictation
-There are multiple reporting features in a system called "report generator" which makes dictation / reporting very easy and quick.
-24/7 operations and IT support (this is a 1:1 ratio for our docs, they have someone with them all shift for making calls, fetching priors, getting anything needed from the site etc.) -Easy way to consult with other radiologists who are also on reading cases
